theradiomusicola : artist bio

Theradiomusicola is a Melbourne based Artist, Producer and Drummer. After performing with many of Australia’s top artists Including Bonnie Anderson (Australia’s Got Talent) Jacob Butler (Australian Idol) and Rhys Tolhurst (Australia’s Got talent) as well as his own band "Radiodogs", he has also performed and toured with industry stalwarts such as Glenn Shorrock Little River Band), Bob Starkie’s SkyHooks Show, Adam Thompson (Chocolate Starfish). This is the first release as a solo artist and music producer.

Theradiomusicola’s songs are born out of a love of all things pop, taking inspiration from bands and songwriters as diverse as Boston, Radiohead Stone Temple Pilots, Abba, Max Martin, Cheap Trick, The Strokes, Bob Moses, Melanie Martinez and Kate Bush and Nik Kershaw but also drawing on musical influences and direction from his childhood memories of the great many artists he listened to.

He specialises in quirky power pop, indie, and rock music and is dedicated to connecting with music fans and record labels through a blend of new releases and a rich catalogue of timeless melodies. With a unique and distinctive blend of musical styles, the artist's history is a testament to creativity and reflective innovation and reinvention of classic pop melodies.
